Hi...M back after a really very long time...
Days were hectic and seem boring ..in general life does not have meaning if u r moving away from ur goals..
Cannot forget somehow , the evening which was like a blow to me. Everything was topsy turvy :(
but in between,,,Visited my other home for ganpati Festival ..to get refreshed.
This time Ganpati really blessed me ..by gifting me A krishna idol..and to make it special..it is inherited..
I take this is as a good signal.
Many years ago, I had visited a jewellery shop with my mother during ganesh festival. It was the day of visarjan. Two guys entered the shop and they had this marvellous, small Lakshmi murti made of Gold !! They had come to sell it. I still remember the way I had seen it in their hands. Lakshmi was standing on a lotus - a common depiction of Lakshmi.
Those guys, however , didn't seem to be worthy enough to possess such precious object; which meant they were either part of a thief gang or they must have found the murti fallen some where among crowds gathered for visarjan..might also be in water where visarjan is done.
I felt then, that I will consider this as ashirwad if such a murti comes to me when am least expecting it.
This year 's Ganpati at uncle's place was remarkable..the murti was tallest among many year's murtis which were ever bought. It was beautiful ..falling short of words.
So, I remebered this childhood memory of lord's murti being presented to me this time. And surprise !!! Dad brought home a Balakrishna idol ..which his mother , my grandmother used to worship. the murti is not of gold ...but anyways I am amazed that my tiny wish of childhood has come true.
